The commonly used 05 stone represents sand with a particle size of 0-5mm; 51 stone represents a crushed stone with a particle size of 5-10mm; 24 stone represents a crushed stone with a diameter of 10-15mm; 46 stone represents a crushed stone with a diameter of 15-20mm .
 Generally speaking, in the machine-made sand industry, it is divided into coarse, medium, fine and extra fine according to the fineness modulus (Mx). The specific fineness modulus is as follows:
1. Coarse sand: fineness modulus is 3.7~3.1, the content of particles with a particle size greater than 0.5mm exceeds 50% of the total weight, and the average particle size is 1mm~0.5mm.
2. Medium sand: Sandstone with a fineness modulus of 3.0 to 2.3, particles with a particle size greater than 0.25mm exceeding 50% of the total weight, and an average particle size of 0.5 to 0.25mm.
3. Fine sand: Sandstone with fineness modulus of 2.2~1.6, particle size greater than 0.075mm over 85% of total weight, and average particle size of 0.25mm~0.125mm.
4. Extra fine sand: The fineness modulus is 1.5-0.7, and the average particle size is below 0.25mm.
